GAME OF THRONES - SEASON 8 UPDATES

 

With filming locations across Northern Ireland, we’re keeping a close eye as updates are released for the eighth and final season of the HBO hit series, Game of Thrones - due to hit screens in April 2019.

Update 14 Jan 2019

Extended trailer released! All three Stark children, Jon (played by Kit Harington), Sansa (Sophie Turner) and Arya (Maisie Williams) are shown in the Stark crypts beneath Winterfell, when, well…here, watch ❄️

Update: 06 Jan 2019

It may only be a few seconds long, but HBO has just released the first official footage of the new season.

The clip features the meeting of two key characters - “Queen of Dragons” Daenerys Targaryen is greeted by Sansa Stark, at her home of Winterfell.

And if you don’t know already, the real life Winterfell (i.e. the original filming location) can be found at County Down’s Castle Ward - with additional castle scenes also shot at Moneymore and Magheramorne, County Antrim.
